Frequently asked

Will I lose quality going to MP3?
MP3 is lossy, so yes — but at 192–320 kbps the loss is inaudible to most listeners. Pick 320 kbps for music, 128 kbps for spoken-word.
Can I extract only part of the video?
Yes — use Trim Video first to mark in/out points, then convert the trimmed clip to MP3.
Does MP4 → MP3 keep the chapter markers or metadata?
Fileroom transfers the title and artist tags where they exist. Chapter markers don't survive — MP3 has no equivalent.
