WebP to JPEG
on iPhone & Android.
Browsers love serving WebP because the files are smaller, but the format trips up many apps, email clients, and editors. Fileroom turns WebP into universally-supported JPEG, on your phone, with nothing uploaded.
Free tier — 10 conversions / day, files up to 50 MB.
Why convert WebP to JPEG?
- Almost every app on Earth accepts JPEG; many still don't accept WebP.
- Web forms, photo printers, and older CMSes reject WebP uploads.
- Sharing to friends on iMessage / WhatsApp is friendlier in JPEG.
- On-device conversion — no service ever sees the image.

Frequently asked
- Does WebP → JPEG lose quality?
- Slightly — WebP is itself lossy, and re-encoding to JPEG adds another generation of loss. The difference is small at quality 90 and invisible at quality 95+.
- What about animated WebPs?
- Fileroom converts the first frame to a static JPEG. For an animated output, convert to GIF or MP4 instead.
- Can I batch convert a folder of WebPs?
- Yes — pick multiple files in the picker and Fileroom converts them in parallel, naming each output the same as the source.
