EPUB to PDF
on iPhone & Android.
EPUB is great for reading apps but awkward for printing, annotating, or emailing to someone without an e-reader. Fileroom converts EPUB → PDF on your phone, preserving chapters and basic typography.
Free tier — 10 conversions / day, files up to 50 MB.
Why convert EPUB to PDF?
- PDF prints reliably with consistent page breaks.
- Annotate with any PDF reader (Preview, Adobe, GoodNotes).
- Share with anyone — every device opens PDF.
- On-device — your library stays private, no DRM workaround required for DRM-free EPUBs.
How to convert EPUB to PDF
- 01
Pick the EPUB
Open Fileroom and select your EPUB from Files. Calibre, Project Gutenberg, and Standard Ebooks all produce compatible EPUBs.
- 02
Choose PDF
Pick PDF as the output. Optional: set page size (A4, Letter) and font size.
- 03
Convert
Tap Convert. The PDF saves to Files with chapter breaks intact.
Frequently asked
- Will the PDF look identical to my e-reader?
- Roughly — typography, headings, and inline images carry over. Reflowable EPUB layouts become fixed PDF pages, so line breaks won't be character-perfect.
- Can it convert DRM-protected EPUBs (Kindle, Kobo store)?
- No. DRM-protected EPUBs (.azw, .kfx, Kobo Adept) can't be converted by any third-party tool. Fileroom handles DRM-free EPUBs only.
- Does the table of contents become PDF bookmarks?
- Yes — chapter entries from the EPUB nav become bookmarks/outline entries in the PDF, so you can jump around.
